LOVE 4 LUKE - July 2013

I was commissioned by my friend Muggur Bjornsson to create a caricature for a little boy named Luke.
Luke is battling Luekemia. I hope this illustration helped to put a smile on his face.

This caricature of Ricky Gervais (2011) was my first entry posted to the group Caricaturama Showdown 3000 on Facebook. If you like caricatures, Caricaturama Showdown 3000 is the place to be. Amazing caricature artists/ illustrators/ cartoonists from around the world participate weekly. I have learned so much since joining, participating and observing the weekly challenges.

Hulk Hogan

Finally got my hands on a Wacom 4 tablet. This Hulk Hogan rendering (2011) is one of my first creations using the tablet and Photoshop. The hand eye coordination is certainly a different feeling than traditional drawing. It is a strange feeling to look at my monitor and not my hand. With more practice, I look forward to getting more and more comfortable.
